I know, I know. I swear I am a normal human being.

I wanted a matching accessory for an outfit I was wearing to HorrorHound Cincinnati, and I have this thing about theme purses. Originally I was making a coffin clutch, but I was having so much trouble getting the hinges and handle to fit that I decided it was time to go in another direction.

Yep.

The purse itself is denim lined with a black and red party satin I picked up years ago, and the strap is nylon webbing. The ruffle and bow are crepe lame. The whole thing is covered with liquid latex, and I also poured out and shapped latex skin strips to line the heart. The heart itself I found at a novelty store down the road. I would love to say I just got it in case I needed it, but this was definitely in my head at the time. The whole thing is painted in acryllic.

Got so many compliments (And 'what the hell is...OH MY GOD!'S')on this that I had to remind myself to switch my wallet back to my real purse after the con - somehow I don't think I could get away with this on a random grocery run!

lol, I should! I already get looks when I wear my knit cap with the devil horns...if I'm gonna go, I might as well go all the way! Maybe I'll carry it around for valentine's day, bwahahaha...
